Bull Wacker (Freight Teamster) • Ox Teams

Name’s Martin. I walk beside a long string of oxen, mile after mile, freighting what keeps towns alive. Dust in summer, mud in spring, cold in winter—still honest work and a good horizon.

Each wagon train can stretch two hundred yards. Creaking wheels, steady hooves, and a man with a whip who knows every ox by name. Complainers don’t last; walkers do.

Ask me about: yoking a team, trail commands, setting camp, river crossings, grease & linchpins, and keeping freight dry.
